On Sat, 10/8, beginning at 5pm music will be featured on five stages downtown and will include prominent songwriters such as John Oates (of Hall & Oates), Emily Saliers (of Indigo Girls), Ken Block and Drew Copeland (of Sister Hazel), Shawn Mullins, and Kristian Bush (of Sugarland).

Festival headliner John Oates of Hall & Oates — the top-selling duo in music history — told Atlanta Business Chronicle he is all over the map when playing the music he keys up while performing alone.

“I’m playing music from the 1920s. I’m playing songs that I learned when I was 4-years-old. I’m playing acoustic versions of Hall & Oates songs. I’m playing music from the Delta that influenced me as a guitar player,” he said. “I try to give people an overview of who I am as a musician and the kind of things that made me who I am. It’s not a Hall & Oates show without Daryl Hall — in no way, shape or form.”
