Join me for a very special evening as i pay tribute to the one and only GEORGE DUKE. Our artist for the night is one of the finest piano players in the country Mr. Tyrone Jackson.
Born in the New Orleansí cradle of jazz, Jackson embodies the spirit of the Crescent City. The blends of jazz, funk and afro-carribean melodies are ever present in his work. But of course, musicians are never solely influenced by themselves. Jacksonís teachers are a virtual Who’s Who of great jazz piano players ranging from Ellis Marsalis, Kevin Bales to gospel legend Moses Hogan.
In addition to his composition skills, the jazz wonder is most known for his compelling solos. Jackson’s improvisational skills allow him to become a part of the song whether he softly highlights ballads or tears through fast-paced standards.
Clean comedy is also on the menu for the evening. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and snacks into the show or pick up a to go order from one of the great restaurant on Historic Marietta Square.
Plenty of FREE PARKING all around the square. This is the #1 Living Rroom Style show in Atlanta !!
