One of our favorite holiday traditions, A Very Merry Holiday Pops!, returns this year a little bit… Grinchier… than before! Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski leads the ASO in the best of the holiday classics, this year featuring the All-City Chorus and a very special guest, Reginald Smith, Jr. as “The Grinch!” Let your heart grow three sizes this day as you listen to the magic of holiday classics.
Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski leads the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s POPS! Concert Series, and is the first to ever hold the title at the ASO. He is also Principal Pops Conductor with the Houston and Jacksonville Symphony Orchestras.
Reginald Smith, Jr. is an Atlanta native, and he is a member of the Houston Grand Opera Studio.
Mr. Smith has been an award recipient in many competitions including the George London Foundation Competition, the Dallas Opera Guild Competition, and he has won the Grand Prize for the Orpheus Competition. In 2012 Mr. Smith won First Place in the National Opera Association Competition Scholarship Division, and he won Second Place in the Central Regional Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
