Presenting the sultry blues and jazz sounds of Rivablue and the Rivablue Band, performing live next Wednesday at Cafe 290. This will be featured in the film “Why Women Get Played” now in Production. Filming starts 8pm.
Riva Blue of WCLK 91.9fm “Jazz at Sundown” will be headlining an evening of jazz music with her unique vocal stylings. Here music from the American Song Book featuring classics songs from some of the all-time jazz greats such as Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Billie Strayhorn, Joe Williams, Johnny Hartman & more. Of course, the evening would not be complete unless Riva sang some of her favorite blues tunes that has become her calling card at the venues she frequents around town. Joining Riva is special guest vocalist Alvin Stone. This is another great event you don’t want to miss. Continue to support live Jazz in Atlanta.
