The JT Project: a multi-talented force of sound that brings forth a unique musical conceptualization: “a new genre in music called JT”. Adventurous and bold, Jacob Webb (Keyboard) and Todd Schefflin (Saxophone) knew that it would take more than just a passing interest in music to become the creative force that they envisioned. Jacob commands each stroke on the keyboard to awaken the soul with a touch of fire, and Todd caresses the notes to life with every breath.
Since then, The JT Project has been performing all over the northeast. Their numbers of fans steadily increase as the band continues to appear in front of crowds at world-class venues such as the Blue Note, B.B. King Blues Club, Ashford and Simpson’s Sugar Bar, and the Iridium Jazz Club in New York. Each performance contributes to the development and refining of their emotion driven sound to create the new genre of music they call “JT”.
Good news travels fast and far. The JT Project has already received international recognition with the single release of a song entitled “Frame”. A musical cocktail mix of the elements of Jazz, R&B, Pop, and Electro, “Frame” tapped into the international market as an intoxicating blend of sound that made the listeners want to get up and move! The song is selling units in the U.K., Japan, and Australia.
