Decatur native and Attic regular, MIKE WILLIS, joins forces with fellow Atlanta-Nashville transplants, Connor Rand and Clay Evans, and recent Shootout finalist, Noah Collins, for a special evening of music. Nothing resembling a traditional Nashville-style writer’s round, this high-energy show will also feature some of the finest backing musicians in the US; blending styles of pop, country, gospel and soul. The band will include, internationally known, Reggie Sullivan from Columbia, S.C. on upright bass, Jason Eskridge, with credits including Lyle Lovett and Johnny Lang, on lead and backing vocals, and several other surprise guests. Fans of the Eagles, Pure Prairie League and The Band will enjoy as well as the Attic faithful who’ve followed Mike and the gang for the last 10 years. “This show is not so much a departure from the music we all play individually but more of an opportunity to explore enhancing the songs and the performance,’ said Mike Willis. Willis is now touring in support of the 2009 record, As I Am.
