World renowned trumpeter and vocalist Joe Gransden has performed worldwide with the big bands of Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and most recently spent the last year performing alongside saxophone great Kenny G. Known first for his hard bop approach on the trumpet, Gransden’s singing voice has been compared to that of Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra. Joe has just released his eighth cd entitled “Close To My Heart” which was produced by Kenny G. The cd is a collection of smooth jazz covers and originals written by Joe and Kenny and has received stellar reviews.
