Enjoy the sounds of Afro-Cuban jazz & Brazilian Jazz ft. mother & son duo Nadine Torres & Richie Viruet.  These NYC natives have played & recorded with the likes of:  Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Eddie Palieri, Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Chic Korea & Wynton Marsalis among others.

Nadine Ann Torres was born and raised in New York City in the Lower East side where she considers herself lucky to be born and raised in a time and area where the influence of music drove her to become the great artist she is today. She came from a musical family.  Her father Juan Torres was a musician, her grandfather, uncles and other relatives also were/are musicians.

She began her career singing and was blessed to record with: Guarare, Daniel Santos, Raul Marerro, Charanga 76 with Hansel & Raul, Tipicas 73, Ray Reyes & Jr Vega, she also recorded an album singing lead  accompanied by, Piano: Paquito Pastor, Bass: Guillermo Echil, Timbales: Nicky Marerro, Conga: Angel Perez, Trumpet:  Chocolate Almentero, Jr Vega Ite Jerez, Sax: Mario Rivera, Trombone: Jose Rodriguez, Raynaldo Jorge, Director: Gonzalo Fernadez, and Engineer: John Fausty. Was also a singer in the live recording of the Barry Harris Orchestral Chorus in New York City.
