JACKOPIERCE is the songwriting duo of Jack O’Neill and Cary Pierce who have been playing together for over 20 years. Their songs range from pop to “John Mellencamp-tinged” country-rock. They have previously working with some of the biggest producers in the business like T-Bone Burnett (Counting Crows, Wallflowers), Stan Lynch (Don Henley, Mavericks) and John Alagia (John Mayer, Jason Mraz). After releasing six records and sharing the stage with Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox Twenty, Counting Crows, Sheryl Crow and more, the two decided to amicably go their separate ways in 1997. The two produced solo projects on their own, but then reunited in 2002 and have been working to get their new project off the ground. On their newest project, Cary leads the production, having been a producer for over 15 years, including Jack Ingram’s first album. Jackopierce are touring in support of their latest release, “Mile High – Live from the Soiled Dove in Denver.”
